Although he didn’t call it journaling, Oliver Mann has been using dialogue writing, character sketches, points of view writing, to name a few techniques, since he was a teenager. Through wanting to use fiction as a way to relieve the pressure off his periods of depression, he found journaling and shadow work to be powerful tools on the journey.
Now Oliver teaches journaling to men, helping them use writing to break through to new levels of understanding. He also coaches 1-1 to both men and women, with a focus on a three-fold process using curiosity, forgiveness and generosity to move from being in the shadow to going into the light.
He is the co-founder of the Barcelona Journaling Festival: www.barcelonajournalingfestival.com
