About this Course

This guided Great Journaling Journey includes 13 lessons to help you get started, re-start and/or deepen your own personal journal writing practice!  If you want to write to know, grow and care for yourself in creative and nourishing ways, this course is for you.  Tap into the power of journaling to tap into the power in you.

As the Director of the International Association for Journal Writing, I regularly get asked questions about journaling.  Here are some of the most common questions I get asked:

  • how to journal?
  • what to journal about?
  • how to keep journaling fresh?
  • how to go deeper with journaling?
  • how to write for self-awareness and personal growth?
  • what are the benefits of journaling?
  • should journals be re-read?
  • how to write consistently?
  • how can journaling support me to reach my goals?
  • how can I make my journal more creative and fun?

We, Ruth Folit (Founder and past Director of the IAJW.org) and I strived to answer some of these questions in our How to Journal: Your Complete Guide.  People want more!  Maybe you want more?

That is why I have created this course – to try and answer these common questions about journaling and to offer you lots of ideas, tips, prompts and writing activities that you can do right away to enrich and nourish your journaling and your whole life too!

Journal writing makes a difference.

When you write with clear intention, consistency and openness,

journaling can truly change your life!
