Are you ready to create and launch a successful journal course of your own? We’re here to help!

Register now for this 6 week online course led by Lynda Monk & Eric Maisel, and learn everything you need to know to create and deliver a successful journaling course.

What’s a journal course? It’s simply a course about any subject that interests you that incorporates journaling into the learning experience. The course can also teach about journaling itself, for example, your course might be about How to Journal Consistently.

Maybe your course is about healing grief. Maybe it’s about spiritual growth. Maybe it’s about marketing professional services. Whatever your course is about, it will be enriched through journaling because people love to write and love to learn from their own wisdom.

You could just deliver a lot of dry material. But it so much better to give your course participants an experience. Journaling is a wonderful experience—you get quiet, you go deep, you tap into your own rich history, and you come back with real insights. When you run a course that incorporates journaling, you provide participants with a proven portal into their own knowing. They will thank you for that!

Maybe you’ve thought about running a course, class, webinar, workshop, training or retreat forever. Now is exactly the right time to realize your dream. Every day that you’re not offering your course, you’re missing out on a golden opportunity!

WHY DO IT?

+ Have something exciting to offer

+ Reach people with your message

+ Keep company with like-minded people

+ Connect with clients, customers, and your audience

+ Acquire speaking engagements and promotional opportunities

We’ll present exactly what you need to know. You’ll learn about the great variety of courses available to you, how to get started, how to create content, how to complete, market, promote, and deliver your course, the pros and cons of online courses versus live courses, and much more!

“To get from the idea of offering a course to actually delivering it is daunting. You could not have more helpful, realistic and thoughtful guides than Lynda Monk and Eric Maisel!”—Beth Jacobs, Ph.D. author of Writing for Emotional Balance, The Original Buddhist Psychology and A Buddhist Journal

This is a brand NEW course launching February 2025 so we do not have any course specific testimonials yet. However, here are some of the lovely things participants have said about learning from us in our Art of Journal Coaching program...

"The Art of Journal Coaching" course, masterfully instructed by two of the most prominent voices in the space today, Lynda Monk and Eric Maisel, was a 12+ week adventure of learning, journaling and self-discovery! Lynda and Eric drew from their deep well of experience to provide a 20+ group of aspiring journal coaches everything we would need to begin our own journal coaching businesses, including the insightful prompts whose answers informed the foundational elements of the endeavor. As someone who has used journaling in the creation of my memoir, I feel like I'm now equipped to coach others to do the same!" ~ Len Prazych, Author, My Fathers: Letters of Healing on a Quest for the Truth

"I'm getting a lot out of the class but one thing that stands out is the balance between your style of coaching/presenting and Eric's style. You two are the perfect balance of feminine and masculine energies. This dynamic combination has allowed me to tap into my purpose and intuition (and compassion) and also to take action, take risks, and commit to my work.  Thank you!"~ Deann MacDonald

“This training helped me see the value of using journaling time in a session. Various types or formats of journaling are shared too.” ~ Kimberly Wulfert, PhD, Mindfulness-Based Psychologist

“This course gave me confidence and know-how around coming up with prompts on the spot. It taught me how to structure a class so that short 2-3 minute prompts could be part of any broader-ranging coaching practice. It also connected me with other like-minded people who are considering adding journal coaching to their pre-existing businesses. Eric and Lynda are both lovely people who teach to a wide variety of learning styles, and I continue to enjoy all the richness that IAJW has to offer. Worth the time.” ~ Courtenay Schurman

“Lynda and Eric are a dynamic duo for sure: their skillsets, coaching styles, and personalities complement each other perfectly, creating a warm and welcoming learning environment in which diverse participants can connect and grow. In addition to the thoughtfully planned live webinars, lessons, and readings, each of these outstanding coaches draws on their own wealth of expertise, which, together, has added significantly to my understanding of journal coaching. The biggest takeaway for me has been the sense of empowerment I have gained from Lynda’s and Eric’s clear and compelling practical instruction and modeling of how to be an effective journal coach. When I signed up for the course, I was only interested only in teaching journaling workshops, and now I am about to enroll in a formal coaching certification program so I can do one-on-one coaching as well, something I never thought I’d have the confidence to do.” ~ Joan Delcoco

"I am learning more and more about journal coaching, writing and myself as I continue to work through this amazing course! I am discovering my personal barriers that I am now gaining confidence to challenge so I can grow my mindset as well as my business. I am so thankful to have this course as such a rich resource, at my fingertips – it will be put to good use over the days... months... and years to come!” ~ Linda G
